'A Poorly Written Poem' is an amalgamation of autobiography and social documentation. It's made up of, what was once, random footage shot over a few years, comprising of Iphone and DSLR clips that were either originally intended for other projects, or merely documents of a place in time.
Together, these images tell a complicated and ever-evolving story. One of displacement, desire, anger, memory, and the act of paying attention-- looking, seeing, and waiting for something to happen.
